Humans need their pets to have every little thing their hearts want.
So when Rikka, a pure-bred golden retriever, fell in love with her proprietor’s bed, there was just one factor for it.
Melissa Belanger, who has been the proud proprietor of the 16-month-old pooch since she was a pet, created a miniature replica of her bed’s picket body from scratch – and the result’s completely adorable.
‘Rikka is the smartest, sweetest, most wonderful puppy I have ever had the honour to adopt,’ Melissa, 41, who lives with her associate in Quebec, tells Metro.co.uk.
‘I’ve been shopping for beds for her since she was two months outdated and nothing has ever been comfy sufficient for her.
‘We wanted one upstairs and one in our room as a result of she sleeps with us, so we determined “why not make it identical?”‘.
Now, Melissa, who works at an digital ironmongery shop, has launched a video of how she created the bed with step-by-step directions for those that wish to give it a go for their very own pooches.
She provides: ‘Rikka completely loves her bed.
‘She comes in our bed, cuddles for 5-10 minutes and when the lights go out she goes straight to her bed without even being asked.’
Melissa shared a put up of Rikka’s bed within the Facebook group DIY Ideas, Craft’s, Project’s and Home Decor!, and individuals are mesmerised – with many saying they ‘love it’.
However, others have been a bit perplexed by the steel equipment on the body, which resemble ‘handcuff holders’, and requested why these have been added to Rikka’s bed.
‘I just want to know what you used for the restraint accessories,’ wrote one particular person.
‘The dog needs handcuff holders too?,’ requested another person.
Well, maybe the couple simply wished the mannequin to be correct.
Melissa has simply launched an Instagram web page the place she will share her upcoming furnishings items.
