Statues of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and John Lewis have been unveiled in New York’s Union Square.
The display, by artist Chris Carnabuci, represents events in 2020 which united people against racism and aims to “bridge monuments with a movement”.
It contains sculptures of George Floyd whose murder sparked marches against police brutality across the world, civil rights activists then US Congressman, John Lewis, who died aged 80 and paramedic Breonna Taylor who died in a fatal shooting during a police raid.
