Mumbai: As a part of the Maharashtra authorities’s ‘Mission Begin Again Phase IV’, barbershops, salons and wonder parlours in Mumbai will roll up the shutters from Sunday. The barbershops, magnificence parlours and salons had been closed for nearly three months attributable to coronavirus pandemic.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray reportedly gave his go-ahead to the reopening of barbershops and salons with some commonplace working procedures (SOPs) on hygiene and cleanliness.
As per the federal government notification, folks having prior appointments solely can avail providers in any barbershop, magnificence parlour or salon. Also, solely choose providers, similar to haircut, threading, dyeing hair and so forth are permitted.

All set to welcome the shoppers after an extended hiatus, Shahid Hussain, a salon proprietor, mentioned: “We will report clients’ temperatures and supply them with hand sanitizer once they enter our store. We will use a brand new towel and haircut seat for every buyer.”
He added that use-and-throw merchandise might be used. No buyer might be attended with out a prior appointment. “We will solely use 4 to 5 workers on the most,” he mentioned. Hairstylists will put on masks and gloves, and attempt to keep distance.
